Infants and Toddlers

Our infant rooms are for ages six weeks up to two years old, and our toddler rooms are for our two- and three-year-olds. Qualified educators in our infant and toddler rooms take the time to learn about your child and family so that they can provide the best experiences and early learning engagements. Infants are not only cared for and nurtured, but our educators will ensure that every infant receives proper stimulation and play experiences for optimal brain development and nurturing of self-confidence and security.

Toddlers learn basic life skills needed at home, like toilet training and meal time independence, combined with natural learning opportunities. Our educators will challenge a child’s natural desire to explore and be creative with appropriate play spaces and activities. As our teachers guide them, toddlers in our early learning centre will see challenges as an opportunity to learn and grow.

Our pre-kindergarten rooms are for ages three and four. Students in these rooms continue to foster brain development, self-confidence, personal identity, and independence. Pre-kindergarteners will learn about appropriate behaviour, harness further independence, and thrive emotionally and intellectually through cooperative play and a fostered team culture. Our pre-kindergarten teachers encourage children to problem solve through critical thinking and learn more about the world around them through play and exploration.

Our kindergarten program is play-based with both child-led play and structured play. Bachelor qualified teachers continue to foster independence and self-confidence through a variety of formats that include touch, sound, sight, and play. Small groups teach children how to work as a team and further enhances cooperation and problem-solving skills. Kindergartners will also learn mindfulness as they practice concentration and stillness, two skills needed for optimal brain development and future success in school.

Enrichment programs like sports and music help release energy while creating life-long learners. Our music program includes singing, dancing, and an introduction to a variety of instruments. At One Early Education, we strive to provide an environment where children build and improve their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Consistent communication with parents, coupled with our exclusive brain development program, ensures we provide a learning environment that prepares children for success in school and success in life.
