My name is Alysha, I am the Director at Craigieburn, I have 12 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education sector. I have always been passionate about creating environments where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn and grow. My favourite part of the day is seeing our families and welcoming them into the centre each morning. I love walking into the rooms and seeing the excitement on the children’s faces when they see me. Those little moments remind me how important genuine relationships and connections are in early childhood. As a Director, I enjoy being involved in all aspects of the centre and getting to know our children, families and educators. I love supporting our team, being involved on the floor and creating an environment where everyone feels valued and supported. Building strong relationships with our families and being someone they can trust is also really important to me. My favourite moment in early education is seeing the growth and development that happens over time. I love watching a child who may have initially been unsure become confident, build friendships and develop their independence. Seeing children celebrate their achievements and knowing we have played a part in their journey is incredibly rewarding.
