My name is Sarah, I am the Director at Mickleham, I have 19 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education sector. I am passionate about Early Education. My favourite part of the day is walking into a room and seeing a smiling child say my name and run up to me.
This makes me happy as it shows that the children feel safe and secure, and that we have built strong, trusting relationships and meaningful connections. As a Director, I enjoy supporting children, our team, and our families. I also value clear communication with everyone, which comes naturally as I genuinely enjoy connecting and having a chat. My favourite moment in early education is observing children reach various milestone. Some of these milestones include watching children master new skills — taking their first steps, settling into care with confidence, solving a tricky puzzle, or writing their own name. Seeing their pride and sense of achievement, and knowing we’ve supported them along the way, is incredibly rewarding.
